Meet the Leadership Team & Board of Directors of Morgan Brook Christian Radio
Miles Muzio, Founder and Charter President: Miles shared the vision for a contemporary Christian music (CCM) radio station which would serve the northwest corner of Connecticut. Under Miles’ leadership the first year, Morgan Brook Radio was established, including a board of directors, a charter, and the development of our purpose, core values and vision statements. During his tenure Morgan Brook also obtained Internet domains, launched a website, received IRS approval as a non-profit 501-c (3) corporation, conducted an initial frequency search, and acquired a 5,000 watt FM transmitter. Miles attended Texas A&M University and graduated from the U.S. Air Force School of Meteorology. He holds the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval for Television and Radio weathercasting. Additionally, he is a teacher of the Word and is currently being used of the Lord in Bakersfield, California.
Tom Palmer, Current President: Tom brings to this position over 31 years of sales management experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, including 14 years as National Sales Manager with the Clorox Company. He served as an elder in a church startup in Alamo, CA, has worked with children and youth in churches and has participated in short term missions work with Teen Missions International, Campus Crusade, Character Choice, and other organizations. An elder at Praise Christian Fellowship, Tom is a Stephen Leader/Minister and also a puppeteer. He graduated from Lafayette College (BA) and Cornell University (MBA). Tom & his wife Kathy live in Riverton, CT. They have six children,10 grandchildren.
Albert Kim, Vice President: Currently serving as Program Director for JunCTionradio.org and on-air Announcer for Lite 100.5/WRCH, Albert is also Instructor of Communication of Communication (Broadcast Performance, Public Speaking and Mass Media) at Manchester Community College and has been Adjunct Professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University and Albertus Magnus College in New Haven. Previously, he was VP of National Promotions for Christian Media Promotions (Atlanta), spearheading the successful radio careers of artists like MercyMe, Michael W. Smith, Third Day, NewSong, CeCe Winans, Amy Grant, DC Talk, Jars of Clay, Yolanda Adams, Sonicflood, and John Tesh, among many others. He was Program Director/Morning Host for Christian 1550/WLVX in Bloomfield, CT and has served as Youth Leader and Dir. Of Christian Edu. at churches in West Hartford, Berlin, Vernon, and Atlanta, GA. He produces local modern worship/coffeehouse band, Red Letter Day. He possesses a B.A. in Organizational Psychology from UCONN and M.S. in Communication & Management from CCSU. Active members at Bethany Covenant Church in Berlin, Albert and his wife, Colleen, are proud parents of two boys. Todd Gill, Member: Todd is a Satellite Field Engineer. He works for Ascent Media out of Florida and takes care of Fox, NBC, and Direct TV Networks in New England. He recently earned his General class FCC license and brings valuable technical expertise to MBCR. He is a member of Praise Christian Fellowship. Todd and his wife Jennifer have 4 children and live in Barkhamsted, CT.
Todd J. Fitzsimons, Treasurer: Todd is the President of Network Imaging LLC, a Kyocera and HP office equipment dealer in Southington, CT. He is a member of Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon, CT where he has served on the Men’s Ministry, The Worship team, Christian Service Brigade and several committees. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Greater Bristol Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry, Faith Hope Love and Laughter. Todd and his wife, Michele, live in Burlington, CT and have 4 sons.
Art Hansen, Secretary: Art’s career has included 15 years in banking management with a CT bank, where he served as Loan Officer, as well as 13 years as a general contractor specializing in commercial construction. Art is an elder at Praise Christian Fellowship and one of the founding members and key developers/builders of Praise’s property in Pleasant Valley. He holds a Masters degree from Wagner College, where he played varsity basketball.
Brian Rupe, Former Board Member: Currently serving as executive director of Camp Jewell YMCA, has been in youth and family ministry for 24 years, is a worship leader at Praise Christian Fellowship, Pleasant Valley, CT and past manager of the Upper Room Christian Bookstore, Purdue University. Brian serves on the Youth Advisory Council for youth camps for the state of Connecticut. He has a Recreation Resources degree in Forestry from Purdue University. Brian and wife, Lynn, reside in Colebrook CT, have 6 children, all of whom have been home schooled.
Anne Anderson, Former Member/Treasurer: Anne, a CPA who also serves as Treasurer for Praise Christian Fellowship, brings to MBCR various accounting experience, including not-for-profit auditing and fund accounting, gained in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and William Glotzer & Co., and from self-employment. She holds 2 degrees from UConn: BA in accounting and MBA. Anne and her husband, Pete, have four children and one daughter-in-law and live in East Hartland, CT.
Bob Davis, Former Board Member: Bob brought extensive electrical engineering experience from a 30 year career including 10 with Pitney Bowes. He holds 6 patents in the field of computer graphics. He is an active member at Praise Christian Fellowship, involved in Stephen Leadership, audio-visual, buildings & grounds and technology. Bob has attended many colleges.
Chris Dickson, Former Board Member: Chris brings over 20 years of industrial management and management consulting experience in the automotive, industrial, aerospace, and biotech industries. He is currently on the board of BioSense Technologies in Boston, MA and the General Manager of Linear Precision Products Aerospace. Chris and his wife, Janet, have four children and are members of Millbrook Baptist Church in Aiken, South Carolina. Chris holds two degrees from Clemson University: BS in Engineering and MBA. The Dicksons now serve as prayer warriors for MBCR and its board.
Steve Fisher, Legal Counsel & former Board Member: Steve’s career spans two diverse fields: as a general practice lawyer with Fisher and Associates in Suffield, CT for 20 years before becoming a science instructor at Miss Porters School in Farmington, CT where he teaches chemistry to high school students. Steve has served as Chairman of Praise Christian Fellowship and is an adult ministries teacher. Steve holds degrees from RPI and U Conn School of Law.
