Junction Radio's Statement of Faith

We Believe: There is one God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob eternally existing as one essence in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Ruler of all things.

Every member of the human race is a sinner by nature and by deed and is in need of a Savior to be reconciled to God. God has sent His Son Jesus to reconcile mankind to God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, He became flesh, was born of a virgin, lived on earth sinless, was crucified for our sins and then bodily resurrected from the dead. He rose into heaven and will soon come again to establish His Kingdom on earth.

God’s great love for mankind is expressed in the Bible- fully inspired, infallible and eternal, the only authoritative guide for our faith and conduct.

Salvation is an option, open to anyone. If a person trusts God’s promises, believes in his heart that Jesus shed His blood to wipe away his sins, and confesses this with his mouth, he will be saved from the eternal punishment, which is to come.

The Holy Spirit indwells the life of a believer empowering Christians to perform the will of God and act as Ministers of Reconciliation to the world. A person must be born again of the Spirit of God to have life eternal.

Angels are God’s messengers, spiritual beings created before mankind. Satan, also a spiritual being, is the enemy of mankind. He rules a kingdom of darkness and evil that is prevalent on earth. Christians engage in daily spiritual battles against this darkness.

There is one universal Church, consisting of all that believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. Christ is the head and source of this living body on earth. Christians are instructed to attend a local church to fulfill the needs of the Body of Christ and their community.

Christians should be fruitful, displaying a regenerated lifestyle that honors the Lord. They should always be prepared to explain the hope they possess. Christians deal with their human nature on a daily basis, yielding to the Holy Spirit. Christians are to be overcomers in this present world, through prayer and trust in Jesus.

God commands all believers to love Him above all, and to love their neighbors as themselves. Christians are commissioned to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to peoples of all nations.

Jesus Christ will return to earth soon to raise the dead, judge the world and establish His Kingdom. Those who have been reborn will live forever with Him; those who do not believe in Him will receive an eternal punishment of being lost in hell, separated forever from God.
